I have been playing the piano for 7 years.
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and I am passionate about art. I plan to minor in illustration.
I have taken multiple acting courses in high school, up to Advanced Theater, and have acted in Summit Academy High School's, The Mouse that Roared.
History
• I am involved intimately with the program Project Andy, which I helped found. Project Andy is an initiative to build a school for the deaf in Barahona, the Dominican Republic. For this project, I, through a fundraiser in my high school, provided the majority of the funds to construct the actual school.
• I was a member of Summit Academy's Hope Squad since it began in 2014. Hope Squad is a suicide prevention group. Members are nominated by teachers and peers as being people who would be trusted confidants, are compassionate, and consistently reach out to others. Hope Squad members are trained in recognizing the warning signs of suicide, and the steps to help prevent a person at risk from taking action.
• I volunteered at Neustros Pequenos Hermanos, an orphanage in the Dominican Republic, for a week. While there, I engaged in cleaning, preparing meals, and playing and interacting with the children.
• I have put forth over eighty hours of community involvement through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's program, Personal Progress.
