Employment History
My first job was with a company called Pad Print. Based on my education at school and my experience, I got the job to create canvases and put my graphic design to the test. At school, I enjoyed my elective of digital design and even received Adobe Certified certificates. At my former job I helped edit photos using Adobe Photoshop. Once my boss approved them, I would print them and frame them. Some were minor 8 by 8 inches frames while some were 30 by 45 inch frames. In addition, some projects can last three days, while other lasted my a week or more. Overall it was a great experience and enjoyed every single day of it.
Community Service
History
• As a student and person within my community, I have used my abilities to better help my community. I am currently volunteering at a non-profit organization called Stillpoint Mission, and have been helping them well over a year now. Here at Stillpoint I have helped with the many things we offer such as assistance with bills, diapers and other health related items, clothes and other everyday necessities, and also food. I am great help as I am young compared to my other fellow volunteer workers when it comes to carrying heavy items or having to do other physical work. In addition, we help people within out community and sometimes from other areas around our county, so we do have a diverse of people who are need of our services. I am a great help as I am bilingual and help with any questions, misunderstandings, and guidance here at Stillpoint.
• As a now graduated senior, I also joined the Key Club in my school. I have earned myself well over 50 hours of community service hours. The activities ranged from helping to decorate for the holidays in nearby schools, and also helping with games and food during elementary school festivities, picking up trash and litter in our nearby school and in other parts of our community, donations for the canned food drive, donations to help fund for cancer research, and also donations such as winter coats for the homeless and cat food for the local cat shelter in out community and making toys for dogs in our local shelter.
