Upon completion of my 2014-2015 school year, I received the President's Education Awards For Educational Excellence, signed by former President Obama. I have also received an offer to become a member of the Beta Club (to which I politely declined). I am platinum certified by the National Career Readiness Program. I received student of the month four times during my time in high school. I have made honor roll once and principal's list seven times. For my junior year honor’s day in the second semester, I was selected to give deliver either my own academic charge or a pre-written poem. I chose to deliver my own charge because I didn’t want to take the easy way out. I am in the National Honor Society. I am the Star Student for my school for having the highest SAT score in my graduating class. I was chosen to be a leader for the Stock Market Game for my school. I spent a year in the office of the reporter for the Technology Student Association (TSA) at my school, an engineering-based club. I was chosen to represent my school for TSA Teams, a STEM-based competition, for two years, once in tenth grade and once in twelfth. I was the first and second chair in my school’s orchestra for two years and took on the leadership role of sectional leader. I am a graduating member of the class of 2019. As a graduate, I have been recognized for the following: graduating with honors and distinction, graduating within the top five percent, having taken five AP classes, gotten a three (out of five) or more on all of my AP tests, being a CTAE pathway completer, and as the “Best in Engineering” in my graduating class.

History
recruiting children in middle school orchestras, encouraging them to go to high school and continue playing their instruments. I have volunteered at a Briarwood Senior Center for two hours with my church, and plan on returning once a month. I am also an instructor for the 8 to 12-year-olds at my church. This means I am responsible for teaching them their lesson from the Bible for that day. I do this once a month.
