Creator of a winning Domestic Violence Awareness PSA
- I wrote, directed, and acted in a PSA video with the aim to spread awareness of the signs of Domestic Abuse, along with the action to take if you or someone you know is in that position. I made 2 separate PSA’s 2 years in a row, and entered a contest with “Choose Respect Montgomery”. I was able to place in the top 3 both times, meaning they broadcasted my production to several schools across the county.
Awards
Most Improved Cheerleader Award
- I went into Cheerleading with no experience, but knowing I wanted to make Varsity my first try. I went to every workout and practice opportunity possible, along with learned extensively at home and was able to perform well at tryouts and make Varsity. Still, I was inexperienced compared to the team and challenged myself to rise above that level. I was always first to arrive and last to leave. By the end of the year, I was awarded “Most Improved Cheerleader by my school.” I now have become Captain my senior year and continue to push myself to never stop improving.
