Marching Band/ 9th-10th Grade
I will always cherish the time I had in marching band, I hold it to the equivalence of being in a serious sport because of the high discipline it requires, and also for the second family you develop with your teammates. I had practice every tuesday and thursday (4pm-9pm) doing warm-ups, memorizing the set on our instruments, and getting our dots/marching down on the field. We played shows at our school’s football games and went to competitions against other marching bands. We earned every award we won because of everyone's whole hearted efforts to do their best, but it was truly the exceptional coaching of James Benanti that gave us the passion to do so.
