Education History
I was a high school drop out. I obtained my GED from Dekalb Tech in Atlanta, GA. Then, returned to Florida and earned a CDA for Childcare at P-Tech. I went on further to St Petersburg COllege (SPC) and earned an AA degree. After I obtained the AA degree I became a real estate broker in Tampa Bay. I have been a full time broker for the last 17 years. I have completed many certifications for foreclosure management, buyers agent rep, and military relocation. I earned a mortgage brokers license and a Community Association Managers license. Recently my oldest son was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and I needed to find a job with good benefits. Even though I have continued my education there were few jobs for me with good benefits so I decided to finish my bachelor's degree. I will graduate in the summer of 2020 providing I find adequate funding for tuition and expenses.
Additional Info
I am a single mother of two teenage boys. I have raised them on my real estate salary for the last 16 years. I have recently found it a struggle to maintain quality insurance for my son with Crohn's disease and obtain a position with a salary that can support a family of three. By finishing my bachelor's degree I will be able to provide for my family.
Employment History
I have been a full time real estate agent in Tampa Bay for the last 17 years. During the 2007 economic downturn I managed national and local bank owned properties using multi-platforms for bid submission, BPOs and MMR, reimbursements, and property management. For three years, I obtained repair bids, supervised home repairs, finalized work orders, and closed out permits.
Additional Info
I am an extremely reliable hard worker. I successfully accomplished 286 real estate sales transactions totaling over $28.4 million in gross sales.
