Education History
I have been home schooled, enrolled in private school, and pursued my high school career in public school. I have spent time learning in many different types of educational environments as my family moved a lot while I was growing up. During my homeschooling and my time in private school, I regularly practiced everything from cursive to Latin to logic and debate. Then, moving to public school, I finally had the opportunity to get involved in student government and other leadership programs. My sophomore year, I was elected class president and worked with my school's semi-annual blood drive and played on our charity powderpuff football team. During this time, I also got involved in with my school's theatre troupe. I started out playing a supporting role my sophomore year, then moving to a lead role the following year. Then, as a senior, I wrote my own original play that we performed at One Act, during which I again played a lead role and assisted my director in costuming, lighting, staging, and overall direction and stage managing. Our school placed third in our region with this performance. Throughout these three years of commitment to Troupe 5318, I have worked as the troupe secretary and now act as the president of the troupe.
