I qualified for CSF membership. To earn CSF, you must earn a minimum of 10 CSF points from the previous semester's grades and it can only be from no more than 5 courses. CSF recognizes highest academic achievement and to apply you must have a minimum GPA of a 3.5. To achieve this award, I took several honors classes in order to raise my points for qualifying for CSF, because one additional point is granted for a grade of an A or B in an honors or AP course. Throughout my semesters, I maintained A's and B's in order to be apart of this program. I also earned honor roll status throughout high school. In order for a student to achieve honor roll status, you must attain a grade average of at least 85% with no individual grade being lower than 75. Students who earn a 3.5 or higher Grade Point Average (GPA) on their Semester Report Card are accepted. I was a guested model for Strut for Sobriety by Gretchen Productions. This non-profit advocacy organization is focused on educating the public, media and decision makers about the true nature of the disease of addiction, and to expand access to treatment services. With being one of the guested models in the fashion show for this event, I was able to further my experience and knowledge in relation to fashion and modeling. I helped in the presentation to inform the public on the importance of drug recovery, and educated myself by hearing stories of former drug abusers and their roadblocks to recovery. At Infinity Dance and Performing Arts I would teacher assist several dance classes, before becoming a dance teacher. As a TA, I assisted students ages 3-10, aided incoming and current students, helped coordinate and teach dances, as well as helped organize and control children when any situations would occur. Being an assistant taught me the basics of needed skills for teaching students in the future, as well as gave me instructions on how to run a dance class.
