I am still attending high school, and within my senior year I will be a part of my school's running start program at Tacoma Community College.
History
I worked as a zoo guide at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma Washington for two years. The zoo guide program is a youth volunteer program in which volunteers tell zoo guests information about all of the animals. We use bones, pelts, and diagrams to educate guests and spread awareness about climate change, pollution, and how our guests can contribute to the end of these issues. In total, I've volunteered 200 plus hours at the zoo.
