Awards
• Earned 2 cups at Young Musicians' Festival (accumulated 30+ points)
• Successfully auditioned for and participated in Chamber Music Intensive run by Juilliard students
• Succeeded on Royal Conservatory of Music exam
• Performs in multiple concerts a year, many of which benefit local food bank
• Performed in several competitions and showcases
• As violinist, performed as part of string quartet at local events
• Performed with school orchestra at Boston Symphony Hall
• Performed at local events such as Western Connecticut Chinese Association Chinese New Year Celebration, church events, nursing homes during holiday season
• Performs in several concerts throughout the school year with school orchestra
• Will be performing at Disney World in 2020
• Won contest to design a water bottle for Math Honor Society

• Tutored English one-on-one to 7 Chinese kids aged 3-10 using my own lesson plans
• Sunday School teacher
• Short-term missionary for Group Mission Trips, helped paint/fix houses in communities in need
• Volunteered at local art center for 5 years, worked with kids in summer camp, painted backdrops and created sets
• Mentor at robotics summer camp, created camp newsletter
• As President of National Honor Society, Vice-President of French Honor Society, and member of Math Honor Society, completed community service projects that benefitted food bank, women's center and local shelter
