Employment History
At age 16 I began working at Oberweis Dairy with a goal to save up for college. While working part time and attending college I also babysat and nannied in my neighborhood. After working at Oberweis for a few years, I began working at the Hinsdale Community Pool as a Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Instructor before my freshman year of college. Once I came back from college for my second semester of my freshman year I started working at LifeTime Fitness as a Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Instructor during the offseason. The following summer I returned to Hinsdale Community Pool as Head Lifeguard and Assistant Swim Lesson Coordinator. After the summer, I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and began to work at the University of Illinois Foundation as a student representative calling alumn for donations to help the University and its students. I now work for Disability Resources and Education Services at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Additional Info
I have continuously had a part time job while attending school to pay for my education. I currently rely on my part time job and other resources like grants and scholarships to afford my college education.
Community Service
History
In high school I helped organize and run a blood drive, I actively donate my blood since high school until this year, my junior year of college, and plan to continue donating. I also routinely volunteer at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Springfield, Illinois. In addition I donate to local philanthopies and volunteer my time to various organizations.
