Education History
I have attended Catholic High School, New Iberia for my entire high school career and have undertaken its most rigorous curriculum, including honors, dual enrollment, and Advanced Placement classes. I have earned 24 hours of college credit, 15 of which I am earning my senior year, and I will be graduating with Honors distinction as either the Valedictorian or Salutatorian of my class.
Awards
I have received many accolades in my high school career. I was nominated for my school's Student of the Year award, awarded Honor Roll for straight A's and B's two years in a row, awarded Principal's Honor Roll for straight A's, and participated in English II and III District and State Rally, placing in third and first in District respectively. Additionally, I have recieved the Torch of Knowledge, given to the top 5 percent of the high school student body who have accumulated the highest number of points from participation and achievements in clubs, athletics, service, and academics. I have also recieved two academic letters, awarded to the top 10 percent of the student body, and I was awarded the Gladys Viator Award for English and writing excellence.

Throughout high school, I have pushed myself further than any of my peers, and I am proud to call myself not only an accomplished academic but an excelling student-athlete and an active member of my community. I am an active member of eight of my school's clubs, including Varsity Track and Soccer, Varsity Quiz Bowl, Math Club/Mu Alpha Theta, Music Ministry, National Beta Club, National Honor Society, and my school's Literary Rally Team.

As the visual arts is one of my passions, I put many hours of work into my art and push myself well beyond what is expected of me. I have taken two years of Studio Art, and for my senior year, I am the only student in my class taking AP Art Studio: Design and Composition. My focus this year is on sustainable relief sculptures and translating them in ink and watercolor, either from direct observation or abstraction.
