The certification is for a training on how to support individuals entering the recovery process. The goal of a Recovery Coach is to be an advocate for people in need of direction and encouragement through their transition and maintenance of their new lifestyle of recovery and freedom from addiction. I obtained this certificate to give back to the community that gave me a new purpose.
