Medium: Mix of oil, salt, vinegar for the splash, and pen I used a mix of oil, salt, and vinegar in order to create a splash pattern. Then, I used an ink pen to randomly draw in peonies as well as leaves in the background, adding details to the stained regions in order to create a contrast in 2D and 3D textures.
