This piece is a short memoir from my creative writing class. It is an ode to my grandfather, who passed away several years ago. Within this piece, I detail the wonder and excitement of being at his house, the mixed emotions that fishing (his favorite activity) brought me, and the tranquility that pervaded the pond by his house.
