I have been a student in Victor Central School District since kindergarten, however, I took the initiative to take a few additional classes at our local community college, Finger Lakes Community College, my senior year. This has been a wonderful experience and has solidified my drive for study in the design field.

In the future, I am interested in studying design, specifically, the field of sustainable packaging design, for which the Fashion Institute of Technology has a great program. I would love to learn more about the field of design and its practical application in our world as well as its impact on the environment. Not only do I want to do something creative, I would like to make positive change in any aspect that I can, especially in my work.

In my AP Art class, painting is how I spend a great bout of my time. Thanks to my additional college courses thus far, I have been able to further explore my drawing and design skills in basic-level drawing and design courses over the past two semesters. I've had work shown in local galleries such as ArtSpace36 and love being involved in the artistic community that surrounds me. I have loved art and the community it can provide since childhood since my parents are both creatives.

History
As a member of Boy Scouts of America Scouting and National Honor Society service is of great importance to me. I began my volunteer work with my town's local food cupboard, volunteering, doing food drives, etc. which came full circle when I built an organizational board for them as my Eagle project. Additionally, I had a multitude of different service experiences as a Scout. My most recent volunteer ventures have been painting sets for our school musical and helping run our school winterguard's home performance.
Additional Info
In the future, volunteer work remains a priority for me, especially as an Eagle Scout. The Scout phrase "do a good turn daily" always rings in my ear reminding me to help others in some way each day however small.
