Education History
I go to Oakland Technical High School in Oakland, CA. I was accepted into the Paideia Program my junior year, which is a rigorous, Socratic-method, AP-level, humanities curriculum. I participated in Race, Policy & Law Academy sophomore year; curriculum focus on law, advocacy and policy, the criminal justice system, and the inequitable treatment of marginalized groups. I have a current GPA of 4.8 and have been on the Honor Roll every semester of high school.
Awards
I won the MVP award 2 years in a row for my high school mock trial team, I was recognized by 3 other high schools as most outstanding attorney for my closing argument my junior year, and I was awarded the "Outstanding Performance" by the Mock Trial organization my sophomore and junior year.

I rowed for Artemis Rowing Club for 3.5 years (until my senior year), where I practiced 6 days, 17 hours a week, was co-captain for my final two years, and raced in local and regional regattas. I chose to stop rowing to allow time for two legal internships I was selected for.
Employment History
• I have been an intern at UnCommon Law (an organization that represents prisoners in their parole hearings) since March. I have assisted coordination of various development projects; in charge of responding to prison mail and training volunteers to do the same; conduct research in support of various CA state policy efforts; led Former Client Outreach Project: trained and supervised 18 volunteers, analyzed data, authored report and presented to UnCommon Law staff.
• I interned at the District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn the summer of 2019. I assisted Supervising ADA in forensic division; attended legal conferences, court sessions and seminar with NYPD detectives.
• I interned at an immigration law firm, UnLocal, in summer 2019. I assisted non-profit that provides direct immigration legal representation to New York City’s undocumented immigrant communities by promoting and planning events and writing and designing promotional materials to support marketing initiatives.
• I worked as a swim coach at Orinda Park Pool from April 2018 to August 2019 (I stopped because of COVID-19). I was responsible for instructing youngest members of swim team in one-on-one swim lessons; assisted in organizing and managing swim meets; coordinated social events.
Community Service
History
• I've assisted in 3rd grade classroom every day; taught daily math concepts and worked with students on improving reading, writing, and computer skills; particularly proud of my work with one student who had ADHD and helped him increase his reading score by 300 points, thereby approaching grade level; continued attending Zoom classes during COVID.
• I have also taken a big role in my community with neighborhood clean-ups, volunteering at food banks (frequently prior to COVID-19), and assisting with school events for under-served members our community.
