Education History
I graduated high school in 1999 with a diploma in advanced studies. I then tried college a few times, but struggled with depression at the same time, and was unable to successfully complete any credits (but I still managed to accrue debt!). I returned to school in 2007 in Hampton, Virginia and completed the majority of an Associate's in Liberal Arts. I'm hoping to transfer my credits to a local college and pursue an accounting degree.

Additional Info
I am a mother to two children under three years old, unpaid caregiver to a veteran with PTSD/TBI, and I work full time. If something happened to my partner, I would not be able to support us on what I make now and thus want to obtain a degree in something I have already shown an ability for.
Employment History
I have mainly worked in retail and restaurant management but have not felt that it was my calling. After transitioning into the medical administration field as a physical therapy practice manager, I have discovered an affinity for accounting.
Community Service
History
Girl Scounts in grade school. Keyettes, 4-H, Church group in high school. Later on I worked at a "safe place" for recovering addicts, assisting them with applying for work and helping with tasks around the center.
