Community Service
History
I volunteer at a non-profit equine rescue that saves horses from the slaughter pipeline. The rescue is located in Lenawee County Michigan, called Two Wild Hearts Sanctuary. Their mission is to rehabilitate neglected and emaciated horses with the intention of finding them forever homes. I have been volunteering here since June of 2023 and I still volunteer 4-5 days a week. I help with morning chores which includes mucking stalls, feeding hay, preparing grain and supplements, filling water troughs, and spreading love amongst all the four-legged friends. When I'm not physically at the sanctuary volunteering, I am out recycling donated pop cans to continue helping the rescue financially. I have raised almost $900 alone in pop bottles over the last 6 months.
