Education History
I have attended Monona Grove High School for all four years of high school and maintained a 4.0 unweighted cumulative GPA.
Awards
I received first place in my project for the DECA state competition and moved onto internationals. I am a National Merit Semifinalist. Additionally, I am an AP Scholar with Distinction. In FBLA and DECA, I have qualified for the state competition a total of five times. I received first place this year in the DECA districts business services competition.
Employment History
I have worked for the City of Monona for the past two years. In the summer, I work as an aquatic attendant at the Monona Community Pool, and in the other seasons, I teach a tumbling class to toddlers at the community center.
Community Service
History
As the co-president of my school's Key Club, I coordinate volunteer opportunities for over 100 students regularly. I collaborate with local organizations such as the River Food Pantry and Oak Park nursing home as well as create some volunteer opportunities within the school. By encouraging others to play an active role in the community, I feel that I can have a bigger impact on those in need around me. Additionally, I participate in community service activities myself. In the summer of my junior year, I was a junior volunteer at the Monona Public Library.
