I participated in jazz band, symphonic band, a choir rhythm section, and Wind Ensemble where we performed Alfred Reed's "Russian Christmas Music," the 15 minute long epic in which I switched back and forth between tuba and string bass to fill out a powerful brass choir sound and cover a double bass solo and ensemble parts.
