My friend Satrina and I noticed that in schools we are never taught how to express ourselves using writing. Everything must be by the book, and this ideology can damage ones perspective on literature as being something that can be positive. We created a poetry club in our schools so students can learn how to write freely with no boundaries allowing them to explore themselves and use writing to create something positive that they can fall in love with.
