Education History
I attended Rocklin High School for all four years of my high school career. I have taken Dual Enrollment classes from Sierra College. I have also taken 4 Advanced Placement classes and am currently taking another 4 AP classes.
Awards
• AP Scholar with Honor - I was awarded by the College Board my junior year since I had an average score of at least 3.25 on all Advanced Placement Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. For all the Advanced Placement courses I took, I made sure to study the material given on my own time to do well in my classes and on the AP exams.
• Outstanding Junior Choir Student - On a school level, I was chosen for this award by my school's choir teacher. In order to get chosen for the award, our choir teacher must evaluate all students' choir dedication during and outside of the classroom to make the program a success. I made sure to be a responsible figure for the whole choir department and I have seen my efforts reflected positively.

My extracurricular activities:
President of the Future Business Leaders of America Club - I pitched the idea of starting a business club to school administrators and together, we brought a Future Business Leaders of America chapter to our Rocklin High School campus. I organize bimonthly club meetings to expand students' business knowledge outside the classroom. We use the many academic competitions and educational programs that the FBLA organization offers, such as the Virtual Business Challenge and Regional and State Conferences.
Caring Cards Club - The Caring Cards Club is a student created club on our Rocklin High School campus with the goal to create inspiring cards for those who are in need of emotional support and to send those cards to institutions that will distribute them. As secretary of the club, I am given the job of encouraging students to become active members and think of groups who would benefit from receiving the cards, for example, the burn victims of the 2018 California fires.
National Honors Society - In order to join this club on campus, I had to have at least 150 hours of community service, have three letters of recommendation from teachers, list my leadership positions, and be able to maintain a GPA of 3.65 or higher, all of which I accomplished before my sophomore year. For the club, throughout the school year, I am in charge of doing individual service projects for the school and the community.
Key Club - I have participated in many service projects inside and outside of the Rocklin High School campus. Through the many service projects Key Club offers, I have learned how important it is to volunteer and be a caring leader. Over my high school years, I have seen how my individual efforts can make a difference in the Rocklin community, and it has made me more motivated to volunteer.

Section leader - I section lead and play the piano for the soprano group of the Advanced Women's Ensemble to help students learn our pitches and rhythms of songs.
Employment History
Independent Summer Tutoring - I tutored elementary students independent of a business. I posted advertisements on craigslist.org during the summer to tutor students in basic math or beginner piano. For my math students, I taught at the Rocklin Library and for my piano students, I taught at my house. I taught a student for thirty minutes in his/her chosen subject. I also worked around the parents' schedule to ensure that they would not switch their son/daughter to another tutor, so I would work at different times and days throughout the week. I learned to be very patient, to be a good communicator, and to build relationships between both students and parents in order to make my business the most effective.

Community Service
History
• American Cancer Society - The American Cancer Society is a nationwide voluntary organization dedicated to eliminating cancer worldwide in order to save lives and those suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service. I volunteer at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Roseville, California on Fridays or Saturdays. I work alongside other volunteers to help gather, display, and organize their donations. My role varies depending on the number of other volunteers, so I am placed where needed.
• EDMO - EDMO is a summer camp that provides STEAM and SEL programs for young children to help stimulate their learning and thinking to promote their educational success. As a Leader-In-Training, I had various jobs to complete such as set up, cleaning, and instructing and helping the children. I also had to show that I am a responsible role model and I saw my actions reflected among the children as their behaviors improved by the end of my time volunteering.
• St. Peter and Paul Church - Every Sunday mass, I sing in the St. Peter and Paul Church Chorale. Once a month, I sing responsorial psalms on the altar.
