Employment History
• During High school I was employed at an Ice cream shop. This is where I began to further develop my leadership skills by training new staff, and being a key role in reordering stock.
• In my time off from high school and the ice cream shop I helped my grandfather out with his landscaping business. In this business I developed my speaking skills where I was tasked with talking to customers with ways they wanted to develop their land into desert. I also assisted with ordering parts/plants and installing them.
• Before the start of my senior year of high school, I took on an internship at my local city. I interned at the City of La Quinta Public Works Dept. which sparked my interest in Engineering. I shadowed the city Engineer with his daily tasks in office and out in the field. I also learned about the planning process of businesses such as a newly constructed In n Out.
• In college, I was employed by my college of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology as a math tutor. As a math tutor, I was responsible with assisting 25 students with developing their math skills and assisting with problems they may have from their class lectures.
