Education History
I graduated from Southeast Polk High school and currently attend Rockhurst University. I am majoring in Nonprofit Leadership Studies and Psychology and minoring in Medical Humanities and Leadership while completing the pre-medicine track. I am on track to graduate in 2023.
Awards
In high school, I was awarded an academic letter of excellence and an academic pin of excellence. I graduated with a silver cord, for committing over 200 hours to community service, a red cord, for donating a gallon of blood, and a gold cord for being a member of the National Honors Society. I have also held many leadership positions in the organizations that I was involved in.

I have a passion for quality, equal and affordable access to health care. I have a goal of creating a medical nonprofit where anyone can come and get help and not have to worry about a bill. I became an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at 18 years old and took a CNA course, but did not take the certification test.

Employment History
• I currently work at a place that provides quality health care to children with special health care needs, called childserve. I have worked here since June of 2018. I provide respite to families with children with special needs, as well as work with children aged 2-6 with Autism and run therapy and behavioral goals with them.
• I also have 4 individual children who I provide respite services to. Two of them have severe Epilepsy and Intellectual Disability, one has Cerebral Palsy, and the other has Autism and ADHD.
• While I am in school, I work in a group home and watch an 8-year-old boy with Autism. I also tutor a 19-year-old boy with Autism in life, social, and academic skills.
Awards
I am a trainer and coordinator for the group respite nights at Childserve.
Community Service
History
• I have logged and completed over 200 hours of community service during my 4 years in high school. I was and still am involved in many community service-oriented organizations.
• Here is a list of some of the things I have participated in: Safe Trick or Treats, blood donations, food pantry donations and volunteers, a lot of different 5K runs, thrift store volunteers, crisis center call line, tutoring, Catholic Worker Farms, and many more.

I have been selected to serve as the Service Chair in Voices for Justice, this is a social justice organization that I became apart of at Rockhurst. In this position, I am responsible for finding and coordinating service projects for the organization to take apart in.
