Education History
I have taken a total of 6 AP classes from my freshman year to this year (my junior year) as well as one dual credit class. I believe in challenging myself, and I think that the rigor of my classes will better prepare me for college, further increasing my chances of success. I plan on taking at least two more AP classes and a dual credit class my senior year to accomplish this goal. I also did speech and debate for two years to improve my public speaking and improve my ability to construct arguments as a little step towards my ultimate goal of becoming a lawyer. I was granted the amazing opportunity to be a vice president of speech club the second year after being secretary the first. It was an amazing experience, and I'm so glad I got the chance to develop my much needed leadership skills.
Awards
I have received a graduation chord for academic excellence every yea, and got a certificate upon my induction into my high school's National Honor Society (NHS). I'm also hopeful that by next year I will qualify for the AP scholar award.

In middle school, I was a band kid and I spent my first 2 years playing alto saxophone and my last year I played tenor saxophone. I used to receive medals for getting 1st division at solo competitions and ensemble competitions with my section. I also participated in theater my 8th grade year, and I played a reporter as well as an adult in ensemble in that year's musical production of Bye Bye Birdie. I no longer participate in band or theater, but trying these things in middle school have made me more well rounded, as it gave me more insight into things I would otherwise not be well accustomed to (ex. greater appreciation for music, how to fake confidence through public speaking, play a role). I also danced professionally for 7 years as a kid and received a trophy for it, but I ended up quitting for basketball and taekwondo at the time. I no longer dance, but there was a time that it was a huge part of my life.

I played this sport from 3rd grade through my sophomore year of high school, however I decided my efforts would be better suited towards using this year as a junior to focus on my academics and prepare for my future.
Additional Info
While I enjoyed playing this sport in high school to stay in shape, and the sense of community it brought me from working as a team I am no longer playing as of late because I want to focus on the things that will prepare me for going into college as a pre law student majoring in business administration/management.

Employment History
While I haven't yet had the experiencing of working, starting this summer I'm going to be working an office job in my parent's newly opened location for a company called Venture X. I will start out as a receptionist, but hopefully as I attend the training sessions and get more familiar with the work my role will change and I can get more hands on experience in the business world before I go off to college. I'm very excited for this chance
Awards
- I have not yet received an award surrounding my professional interests, but hopefully once I start my job this summer I would be extremely grateful if I were to receive recognition for a quality work ethic and dedication.
