I am very goal-driven and motivated; I always strived to challenge myself with as many rigorous courses as I could. I have always had an affinity towards sciences, most prominently chemistry and biology.
Awards
• I direct a team called Stuy Legacy, a competitive open-choreography dance team, which won(and continues to win) first, second, and third place awards at various competitions

I started this specific style of dancing (open-choreography, formerly known as urban dance) once I entered high-school, but I have been dancing (tap, jazz, ballet) for six years. I have been a part of Stuy Legacy for my entire high school career, directing the team for 2.5 years. I have also directed various dance crews for school showcases and events while also participating in many school clubs for dance.

This is just a hobby; I played volleyball often with friends after learning the skills from my school PE classes. It was a great way to stay physically active and maintain my social life outside of school.
