I'm currently in my senior year of High School at Woodgrove High School. I'm also enrolled to attend the College of Natural Resources and Environment in fall.

I was inducted in the National Honor Society for my participation in debate.

I'm very devoted to my goals which is shown by my acceptance into the #1 environmental science college in the world. I work hard to achieve what I want in life, and that won't stop as I transition into college. This scholarship money will allow me to find the right career without the overwhelming burden of student loan debt.

I was awarded the Cappies Creativity award for my role as assistant director in my schools production of Little Shop of Horrors.

I played the role of Wino #2 and the understudy for Audrey II in Woodgrove High School's production of Little Shop of Horrors. I was also the assistant director of that musical.

I joined the debate team at Woodgrove High School in my junior year and during my senior year, I served as captain of my team, leading us in multiple tournaments nationwide.
I've also taken part in the Woodgrove Battle of the Books Team. We've competed in three state-wide competitions and taken first place in one of them. For my senior year, I was elected vice president and helped organize information, meetings, and money for the team.

Employment History
• I worked as a cashier and cook at Vocelli's Pizza for 6 months. This involved taking orders in person and over the phone while also making specific orders.
• I worked at McDonald's as a crew trainer and cashier for 1 year . This means I trained new employees in all aspects of the restaurant while also providing superior customer service.
• I was employed as a farmhand by Debby Yassin for the period of a year. While there, I took care of animals such as horses, goats, and chickens while also maintaining the landscape on and around the farm.

I wasn't awarded any specific rewards because I worked at fast food places and local businesses which usually don't offer them.

I worked incredibly hard for the above companies, earning there respect and trust quickly. I know I can apply these values to my college education and future career and the money from this scholarship will help me in that process

• I volunteer weekly to help with children's programs at my church.
• At my previous church I provided babysitting services every Sunday morning and Friday night.

I'm very devoted to service, especially when it's for a nonprofit organization like a church. In fact, I believe that service is one of the best ways we can contribute to society. By doing things for goals other than money or fame, we help others selflessly.
